‘pop&b’ trio brb. releases Undone, their third single of 2019, via Umami Records on Friday, September 27.
The follow-up to 2019 hits Can’t Tell and Whoops is another intoxicating mix of funk, pop, and electronica, forming brb.’s distinct brand of uniquely refined R&B distilled into one irrepressible melody. The infectiously groovy track is sure to spur bodies into motion — listeners wouldn’t be able to help but bob to the rhythm while they take in the poignant lyricism.
The stand out trio has stuck to their flourishing repertoire of songs about the highs and heartbreaks of romance. Undone, which narrates the timeless motif of love and its progression from ambivalence into inevitable submission, was written to capture the relatable experience of falling in love and the conflicting emotions that come along for the ride. “Don’t be afraid to be vulnerable,” the band advises, and they hope to convey that through their music.
